Our story
One small bottle, made the slow way. Here is the longer version of how it is made, and why we refuse to hurry it.
Chapter I
Slow is the point
Most face oils are made to a deadline. Ours is made to a rhythm. We decided early that we would rather make a little, slowly, than a lot in a hurry.
Slow is not a side effect of working in small batches. It is the whole idea. The pour is unhurried, the infusion runs for weeks, and none of it can be rushed without becoming something else entirely.
So the pace you see on every page here is the real pace of the work. Nothing worth having is made in an afternoon.
Chapter III
Twenty-one days in silver
The signature step is the one that takes the longest. The oil rests in a silver vessel for twenty-one days, cool and undisturbed, while time does the work that heat would otherwise force.
We keep the account of those days honest. The stages below are how we understand the process today, and we flag them as pending verification until the exact method is confirmed on the record.

Twenty-one days, stage by stage:
- Day 01
Saffron enters the silver
Kashmiri saffron threads are laid into a silver vessel with cold-pressed sweet almond oil. Silver keeps the oil cool and stable while it works.
- Day 06
Manjistha joins
Ground manjistha root goes in. The oil begins to take on colour, shifting from pale gold to amber.
- Day 13
The colour deepens
Halfway. Nothing is heated, nothing is hurried. Time is doing what heat would otherwise force.
- Day 18
Gold is folded in
24K gold flakes are added by hand and suspended through the oil.
- Day 21
Ready to bottle
Strained, settled and filled into amber glass. Twenty-one days for fifteen millilitres.
